Cannon DVD

Cannon was an American detective series about a balding, middle-aged, overweight cop turned private eye named Frank Cannon (William Conrad). Haunted by the tragic loss of his wife and infant son, he quit the force and became a private detective. Cannon charged high fees to most clients but very little to the destitute ones, in order to support his luxurious lifestyle which includes gourmet meals, a penthouse on Sunset Strip and a shiny Lincon Continental IV luxury car. Despite his size, Cannon became well known and well respected in his profession.

Cannon aired on CBS from September 14, 1971 to March 3, 1976 for 5 seasons (125 episodes). This 1970's crime show is one of Quinn Martin Productions hit series known for their highly stylized format. Frank Cannon often crossed over to appear on another QM Production crime series called Barnaby Jones.
