The Addams Family is a black and white American fantasy-comedy television series based on Charles Addams' New Yorker cartoons. Originally produced by Filmways, Inc. in Hollywood, California, the series aired for two seasons on ABC from September 18, 1964 until April 8, 1966. The series centers on the Addams family, a very wealthy family who love each other. They are humans with supernatural abilities. The Addams family consists of Gomez and Morticia Addams with their two children, Pugsley and Wednesday. The family also includes Uncle Fester, Lurch, Grandmama Addams and thing T. Thing.
