Popular was a teenage dramedy premiered on the 29th of September 1999 and lasted on the 18th of May 2001. The series was created by Ryan Murphy and Gina Matthews and starred by Leslie Bibb, Carly Pope, Tamara Mello, and many others.

The series follows the exploits of the popular and unpopular high school students from Jacqueline Kennedy High School. Brooke, one of the popular guys, head cheerleader and a barbie doll while Sam, the unpopular girl who always wants justice and she's a journalist. The two and their gangs were forced to socialize when their parents get engaged, Sam's mother and Brooke's father. They plan to separate their parents and Sam look for Brooke's real mother and ask her to go back to town for them to break the engagement. The two were joined by their respective gangs; the popular guys namely Nicole, head cheerleader and best friend of Brooke; Josh, a football player and the star of the team; Mary Cherry, the psycotic multi-millionaire girl; and Sugar Daddy; while from the unpopular side; Harrison, not so hot guy who eventually finds himself torn between Sam and Brooke; Carmen, fat girl but with a good heart; and Lily, a girl with a boyish look.
