Newsradio comedy was series created by Paul Simms and aired from March 1995 until May 1999, a sitcom about politics, crises and relationships between workers of a fictional Number 2 news radio station in New York City, WNYX. Their workplace supplies humors, laughs and gags, headed by new haggled, sarcastic wit and coffee addicted news director Dave Nelson, with his staffs; anchormen egocentric insubordinate Bill McNeal and beautiful Catherine Duke, Dave's secretary Beth in her ridiculous outfits, a weird office guy news reporter Matthew Brock and all-around fix-guy electrician Joe Garelli. WNYX was owned by eccentric billionaire Jimmy James who shows a father-loving figure to his employees.
