Home Improvement was an American situation comedy about Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor (Tim Allen), a Michigan native who hosts a local cable television show called Tool Time. Tool Time was a home improvement show that revolved around cars, toys, tools, hardware shops, garages, fix-it-up projects, and similar themes, it was co-hosted by Tim's mild mannered friend Al Borland (Richard Karn) and "Tool Time Girl" Lisa (Pamela Anderson) and later Heidi (Debbe Dunning). Tim, a natural born accident prone handyman, often ends up causing disasters mostly caused by his "More Power!" devices on and off the set to the dismay of his wife Jill (Patricia Richardson).

Home Improvement aired on ABC from September 1, 1991 to May 1, 1999 for a total of 205 episodes. In its 8 season run, Home improvement received 9 Golden Globe Awards and 7 Primetime Emmy Awards. Reruns of the show are currently on cable and national syndication.
