The Good Times is a 30-minute American comedy television series aired on February 8, 1974 until August 1, 1979 which centers its story on the lower-middle-class Evans family who lived in a high-rise apartment in the ghetto. The family consists of Florida and James Evans and their three children named J.J., Michael and Thelma. The family struggled with some sort of financial problem but they always manage to keep their love with each other even through worst times. The series was a spin-off of a spin-off of All in the family where “Maude” character came from. It ran for 5 seasons and was moved to Tuesday's. It became very popular and ranked in the top ten of the Nielsen Ratings.
