The Little Mermaid is produced by Walt Disney Television Animation after the success of the 1989 Disney Film of the same title which ran from 1992 to 1994. The series is originally aired on CBS and reruns on The Disney Channel until June 2010. It follows the adventure of a mermaid named Ariel and her friends; Sebastian, Flounder and Urchin. Ariel is living with his father King Triton and her sisters Attina, Aquatta, Andrina, Alana and Adella. She experienced living in land and living with two feet with Prince Eric. Jodi Benson voiced the character of Ariel, Samuel E. Wright voiced Sabastian, Kenneth Mars as King Triton and Pat Carol as Ursula.
