Richie Rich is an animated television series which is based on Alfred Harvey comic character of the same name and produced by Hanna-Barbera Productions. It was aired on ABC-TV from 1980 to 1984. The series shared time slots with Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo, The Little Rascals and Pac-man during its original broadcast run. The series revolves on the adventures of Richie Rich together with his girlfriend Gloria Glad, friends Freckles and Pee-Wee, and his dog named Dollar as they solve mysteries and situations using incredible expensive gadgets. Despite of being the richest boy in the world, Richie is a kind boy who wants to share everything he has with others, friends, their employees and even to his robot maid named Irona.
