Josie and the Pussy Cats in Outer Space is an American animated television series based on Archie Comics of the same name aired for 16 episodes from 1970 to 1973 on Saturday Morning television and was created by Dan De Carlo. It features the all-girl pop music band. The members are Josie, the lead singer and guitarist, Valerie who plays tambourine, and blonde drummer Moldy. Together they complete their around the world tour with strange adventures and mysteries. Their tour brought them to the outer space where they explore strange new worlds and encounter strange alien creatures. The band tries to find their way home with the help of some alien creatures and other characters including their manager Alexander Cabot III, his sister Alexandra and their road manager Alan M.
