A Pup Named Scooby-Doo was premiered on ABC from September 10, 1988 until August 31, 1991. The show was the first Scooby series which is re-run on the Cartoon network created by Tom Ruegger. The show follows the adventures of Scooby when he was still a pup.

The "grown-up" incarnations of the characters were parodies. Freddy played the characters as a conspiracy theorist. Daphne was a spoiled and an arrogant rich girl. While, Vilma is a silent cute child genius who spoke mostly to point out the clues that will solved the cases.
