Young Hercules is a spin-off from Hercules: The Legendary Journey which aired on Fox Kids TV Network for one season with 50 episodes from September 12, 1998-May 12, 1999. It focused on the adventures of Hercules (Ryan Gosling) in training at Cheiron's Academy under the wise headmaster Cheiron “The Centaur” (Nathaniel Lees). He makes friends with Iolaus (dean O' Gorman) and Jason (Chris Conrad). Iolaus is a former member of a bandit group while Jason is a the future king of Corinth. Hercules also met the fist female cadet of the Academy, Lilith (Jodie Rimmer). In 1998, the television show won the Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Sound Editing and in 2001, it won in the Writers Guild for Children's Script. Young Hercules is an amazing series not only for kids but for the whole family.
