The Adventures of Robin Hood is a an action-adventure TV series based on United Kingdom that was aired on ATV London from September 25, 1955 to March 1, 1959. It consists of 4 seasons and 143 episodes on a black and white format. It was about the traditional legends of Robin Hood who lived in Sherwood Forest, a noble man with a band of merry men who fights against the rich people whom stepping the lives of the poor ones. Robin Hood was played by Richard Greene, along with other characters like Sheriff of Nottingham played by Alan Wheatley, Hood's main antagonist, Little John played by Archie Duncan who was Hood's trusted friend and someone who follows his commands, and Maid Marian, a lover of Hood played by Bernadette O'Farrell. The series was produced by Sidney Cole and was distributed by Official Films Inc. for ITC Entertainment.
