The Rockford Files DVDThe Rockford Files is an American TV drama series that had its first-run on NBC networks between of March 27, 1974 until the finale on January 1, 1980. The show created by Roy Huggins and Stephen J. Cannell as they try to recapture a modern day detective setting. A notable typed of show that featured Jim Rockfords that portrait by James Garner, a private investigator who lives and works from his trailer in Malibu, Los Angeles. The show revolves around Jim, who's an ex-convict that been prisoner for five years in San Quentin, as accused of armed robbery which he did not commit ever seen - but pardoned. As part of his parole he used to work with his brother-in-law who owns a newspaper company in Los Angeles. He had also a Tan Pontiac Firebird and an answering machine which played on every beginning of the show.
