McGyver is an American action series in United States ran from 1985-1992 on ABC-TV. The 60-minute television series is about Angus Macgyver who is a different kind of superhero that doesn't use weapons to defeat enemies. He is also afraid of heights but he's expert on making machines and gadgets out of ordinary things. He is an employee at The Phoenix Foundation in Los Angeles which is dedicated to improve mankind. Pete Thornton is responsible for giving tasks to Mcgyver. Henry Winkler and John Rich Productions is the producer of the series in cooperation with Paramount Television. During seasons 1, 2, and 7, the series was shot in Vancouver, seasons 3-6 in Brtitish Columbia. Mcgyver is popular not only in America but also in parts of Europe, Australia, ans some on Asian countries like Taiwan, Bangladesh, Middle East, also in Brazil, Canada, Mexico and New Zealand.
