Hondo DVD

Hondo was western television series during fall season and aired in United States on ABC Broadcasting Network that premiered on September 8, 1967 until December 29, 1967. It was based on the film with the same title which starred by John Wayne from turned novel of Louis L'Amour. Ralph Taeger was the featured cast as he played the role of Hondo Lane who's an ex-Confederate Calvary Captain.

The story is about a loner who had moved west following the Civil War and had married the daughter of their chief Vittoro. But it his life became tragic when his wife killed as part of the Indian massacre that conducted by troops of the United States Army. Now he and his dog Sam traveled alone trying to prevent further trouble between the Army and the remaining Indians.
