The Streets of San Francisco ran on 1972 on ABC Channel competing against the two CBS sitcoms. It has five seasons with 121 episodes. The show revolved in two police officers investigating homicides that happened in San Francisco. Lt Mike Stone a widowed veteran cop who had 20 years of experience. He was partnered with Steve Keller a young fresh graduate, energetic, 28 years old and no experience in police work. Lt. Stone guide Keller with the ways of detective work. After the successful episode Keller leaved the show for a teaching position. The show ended in 1977 due to low ratings. |
